MONEL ? 190 electrode The MONEL 190 welding rod can be applied to the manual arc welding of MONEL400, r-405 and k-500 alloys, as well as the surface surfacing of steel. The metal is resistant to seawater, salt, and an erosion of acid. The welds formed by this kind of welding rod can meet the exacting X-ray radiographic inspection requirements. To be sure, while using this electrode welding MONEL alloy K - 500 can form joint performance, but is different from the parent metal, weld filler metal can't age hardening effect, so the relative intensity is low. The MONEL190 electrode has a wide range of applications to be used for welding of foreign materials such as MONEL nickel-copper alloy and welding of carbon steel, low alloy steel, copper and copper nickel alloys.
